The
National Institute of Preventive and
Social Medicine (NIPSOM), the only
national level public health institute
under the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh;
was established in 1978 with the aim
to produce post-graduates capable
of satisfying the needs of the community
in promoting and restoring health.
The institute is also supporting in
the different health policy formulation
of the government and community health
programs through research, training
and services.
